The Delta coking coal pretreatment process draws on the development experience of Nippon Steel's coking coal pretreatment technologies (including PreCarbon, CMC, DAPS, and SCOPE 21 processes) and incorporates Delta's proprietary high-temperature fluidized bed drying technology. The Delta process consists of two distinct process flows:
Delta Process A (which can be considered an improved version of the DAPS process) and Delta Process B (which can be considered an improved version of the SCOPE 21 process). Compared to the DAPS and SCOPE 21 processes, the Delta process offers the lowest investment and operating costs.
Delta's low-rank coal pyrolysis process is developed based on its proprietary high-temperature fluidized bed drying technology and its experience with lignite indirect heat exchange vertical moving bed dryers. The process features low pyrolysis gas dust content, precise pyrolysis temperature control, high tar yield, high unit output, and low process costs and investment.
